After locating seven IED's in one day along a roadside in Iraq, Megan and Rex were blown through the air after an IED was detonated from a house nearby. Megan received a Purple Heart and thankfully both her and Rex have recovered from their injuries. The experience did not deter Megan from pursuing her civilian career. She now works with her Chocolate Lab, Patriot. Their job is to provide security and explosive detection services domestically and internationally.

Megan, i am in awe of you. You are a strong woman, a brave soldier, and a wonderful human being. It takes a special person to completely change their life to go fight for our country and I thank you for it. You fought hard and by the grace of God survived and made it home. I heard about you because of the story about you and Rex. I am shocked by it and want to know what I can do to help.
